Extreme angle fairlead

The X-treme Angle Fairlead is a significant design breakthrough that lets sailors cleat and release lines at angles as great as 90 degrees. This is a very important advance in cam cleat fairlead design because sailors can now trim and adjust their sails from a variety of positions on the boat. This ability sets the X-treme Angle apart from other fairleads which usually uncleat at extreme angles but won’t recleat without first centering the line.

“Sailors will love this innovative fairlead,” said company president Peter Harken. “It features a stainless steel bail for a bulletproof turning point and sailors can easily adjust traveler, cabintop controls and deck cleats from the rail. It’s also an absolute must for the new Laser® deck cleating system and allows sailors to fine-tune the outhaul and cunningham controls while hiking.”

Prices start at £9.18 for the small fairlead and £10.25 for the bigger one.
