On 19 November 1995, Dame Catherine Tizard, the General Governor of New Zealand knighted Sir Peter Blake in front of 200 guests.
Peter Blake's name had first appeared on the the Queen Honours list on June 16. A rare photograph from my friend George Johns, the famous cameraman who filmed AustraliaOne sinking and was a crewman on board ENZA New Zealand .
