The breeze now seems to have evened out across the fleet in the Transat AG2R with Nacarat now only making the smallest inroads into Cercle Verte's lead. At the latest sched Cercle Verte has just over 500 miles left to sail, and over the last 48 hours has edged south to cover Nacarat, which is now 25 miles astern and in turn holds a comfortable 20 mile cushion to Jeanne Gregoire and Gerald Veniard on Banque Populaire in third. The boats are all slightly high on course so that they are likely to have to make a final gybe to get to the finish line off St Barts where the leaders are due in the early hours of Monday morning (UTC).

Sam Goodchild and Nick Cherry on Artemis are holding ninth place on a similar track to the race leaders.
