At what age did you start sailing?
At age 10, began to race age 13.

Who or what inspired you to start sailing?
Parents used to sail before they were married, older brother began sailing through scouts, and I joined the sailing club three years later when I was old enough. I've always been a real water baby.

In what class?
I learnt to sail in a Mirror. I went through Herons, Westerlies, Enterprises and GP 14s. My first race boat was an old yellow Laser. I sailed it as a full rig unless it was too windy, when I put up my radial rig.

Where?
Learnt to sail at Crosby scout and guide marina club. Learnt to race at Crosby sailing club, both on Crosby marina.

How long have you sailed your current class?
Four years.

Merchant Taylors school boat club.

Your greatest achievement in sailing?
Gaining a place in Volvo RYA UK Youth Squad aged 15 (1999), top girl in Radial and 11th overall in 2001 Volvo RYA UK Youth Nationals
