Third French stopover unveiled for La Solitaire du Figaro

Following the announcement of the course fo the 2014 La Solitaire du Figaro - Eric Bompard Cashmere which is to include a stopover in the UK (hurrah! Read more about this here), so the mysterious fourth stopover port on the west coast has been confirmed as being Les Sables d'Olonne, famously the start/finish port of the Vendée Globe.

The stopover follows the start of the race from Deauville on 8 June, with the Solitaire due into Plymouth on 10 June, before restarting bound for Roscoff via the Fastnet Rock on 14 June. The race then moves on to Les Sables d'Olonne before finishing back in northern France, in Cherbourg Octeville.
