Jerome Koch's innovative 'Meteor' sports the only large scale free-standing wingmast, capable of being canted laterally (not fore and aft). While the rig (known in the fleet as 'La cheminee') is perhaps not so flash, down below she has a very cunning canting keel mechanism that causes the keel to extend when it cants (more on this in due course...)
