En route to Honkers

Skipper Impressions: Flat, Good Direction of the Sea
We got a fairly rough start, you know, because we waited for the wind rotation. We came out of Yokohama in the middle of very huge traffic. So many boats all around, it has been quite difficult. Happily, we were been averaging 22-23 knots and with the average speed of the traffic was 20 knots, so it was possible for us to manoeuvre. At night, there was no visibility with the waves still in the wrong direction – coming from the south because it was just after rotation. It was quite rough for about 10 hours. For 10 hours, we were jibing between the traffic.
Now it is going okay. For about 24 hours we have had very good sea, flat good direction of the sea and it is not very, very windy. We have between 16 and 18 knots wind and we are going at a very good average speed. The conditions are very good driving conditions. I think we will be in the Luzon Straight in about 24 hours and it will be direct to Hong Kong. We will pass about 100 miles south of Taiwan and nearly the same north of the Philippines.
