High Performance Yacht Design conference returns to New Zealand in December 2008

BMW Oracle Racing's David Le Pelley, chairman of the organising committee confirms that the 3rd High Performance Yacht Design conference will be held in December 2008 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Following on from the success of the last two conferences, the committee will be inviting papers on a broad spectrum of topics covering the design of high performance yachts and power craft.

The conference is one of the few get-togethers between yacht designers and other yachting scientists and with attendance by the likes of Le Pelley delegates will get some insight for example into some aspects of the work that Cup design teams carry out behind the scenes.
