Star to launch Formula One's new Hugo Boss racing yacht

On Wednesday 30th July Davina McCall will launch Gosport-based charter company Formula 1 Sailing’s new 65ft, £1.5 million racing yacht Hugo Boss just 3 days before the opening of Skandia Cowes Week, the highlight of the summer social season on the water.

Davina will be cracking a magnum of Champagne Mumm over the bows and naming this new racing yacht for designer brand Hugo Boss. The brand new Farr 65’ yacht is sleek and stunning with complete black and white branding over the hull and sails, and carries the distinctive sail number ‘GBR 8055 L’.

Hugo Boss will be racing during the regatta in Cowes and moored off the Royal Yacht Squadron.

The launch takes place at 12:00 midday on Wednesday 30th July at Hamble Yacht Services, Port Hamble, Hampshire
