James Boyd was out at the start of the race to Kawau earlier today

The second New Zealand Millenium Cup regatta's race from Auckland to Kawau Island got underway this morning with a fleet including 14 yachts of less than 100ft and an impressive 21 bigger than 100.

The boats will overnight in Kawau where there is a rather large celebration, before returning to Auckland tomorrow.
