Knight Frank have today announced that they have a prime riverside site for sale at Noss-on-Dart, near Dartmouth. According to the vendors it is one of the most sought after addresses in the south of England and it is for sale for the first time in 150 years.
Details:

The site also includes extensive former shipyard buildings, currently used for storage, an attractive Victorian style building, constructed in 1958 on the quay, a former office building and caretaker’s bungalow, extending in all to about 8,000 square metres
Noss-on-Dart lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Coastal Preservation Area on one of the most beautiful rivers in the UK.The river Dart has been a haven for yachtsmen for centuries and is busy all year round with various craft, including cruise ships, super yachts and the occasional submarine visiting its deep water harbour. There are also two long-established yacht clubs and an annual Royal Regatta.
The Marina is located on the east bank of the River Dart about a mile upstream from the thriving town of Dartmouth. Today, Dartmouth is a desirable yachting centre with high property values and excellent amenities. A well known feature of the town is the historic Britannia Royal Naval College.
Martin Rogers, Partner in Knight Frank’s Exeter office says: “The availability of Noss on the open market offers a genuine once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire the only remaining site of its kind on one of the most popular and beautiful rivers in the UK.
