Skiff European tour

Dates announced for pan-European events, including Weymouth

France, Sardinia, Germany, Italy and England... the 2005 edition of the European 18 ft skiff Grand Prix will take place this year in a variety of prestigious sailing venues.

The 18ft skiff crews will meet first in Carnac on 6- 8th May before racing again on 5-10 June on the beautiful waters off Palau, Sardinia. As part of the world championship (one regatta per continent), this second Grand Prix will be the highlight of the tour as it will offer the European competitors the opportunity to compare themselves with the best specialists in the discipline including the Australians, Americans, etc.

The competition will then move on to Travemuende, for the German Grand Prix on 27-30 July and Campione for the Italian Grand Prix on 12-14 August before the final race in Weymouth, for the UK Grand Prix on 16-18 September.
