This big pressure chamber is Hall Spars' current autoclave in their Bristol, RI facility. The one in Breskens is twice as large and can cook an America's Cup mast in one piece. Alinghi's masts were made in Bristol in two piecesBelow: the laminate is then wrapped in a foamy material before the vacuum bag is applied. The foam distributes the load from the vacuum bag evenly across the laminate.
