Assa v the spout

A magnificent photo of the water spout from the beginning of the Hobart Race

Taken from the deck of News Corp, this shows Assa Abloy narrowly missing the rather large water spout emanating from the big black thunder cloud. It had a worse affect on the maxis in the Sydney-Hobart fleet, shredding the sails on Grant Warrington's Skandia Wild Thing and ripping the main on Nicorette (fortunately they were carrying a spare).
