An evening with Ellen..

..and share her ocean racing experiences

Yachtswoman of the year Ellen MacArthur will be at a special fundraising evening in London where she will be share her incredible ocean-racing experiences.

The evening has been organised to support the national charity Sargent Cancer Care for Children of which Ellen is Patron and keen fund raiser. Ellen said " I chose to go to sea for a challenge, but I have always been inspired by seriously ill children." She explained " they have no choice about their illnesses, yet they remain so positive, its amazing."

This unique opportunity will take place on the 7th January 2002, at London's BT Tower and hosted by BT OpenWorld. You will also have the opportunity to meet Ellen during the Gala buffet in the Towers restaurant with spectacular London views thrown in. There will be a chance to win fabulous prizes in an auction and to hear tales from Ellen’s latest experiences at sea.
