Kite Foiler from Holland

From Holland, Niels Haarbosch led a four man team who had prepared another foil equipped craft. This was a long slim central hull with two small floats at the bow fitted with very thin narrow foils and a foil equipped rudder. Propulsion was by kite.

A best run of almost 12 knots was made early in the week but stability had proven to be a problem as the boat rose onto the foils and towing tests were being carried out with the helm moved further forward.
