Sailing on TV this month...

This month, CNN's Inside Sailing programme comes from the Caribbean island of Antigua with a visit to the 40th Annual Charter Yacht Show.
Crewed yacht charter remains the ultimate in exclusive holidays, and for this month's show Inside Sailing talked to the charter brokers and crew about what it takes to make an unforgettable vacation.
The show takes you onboard two of the newest and largest sailing superyachts available for charter, the 42.7m (130ft) ketch Victoria of Strathearn built in New Zealand by Alloy Yachts with an interior by Andrew Winch and the 43m (132ft) Perini Navi ketch Thetis built in Italy. These two spectacular yachts charter at a rate in excess of $60,000 per week.
The sailing world lost one of its legends this month in a murderous attack by pirates on the Amazon. Sir Peter Blake was the first Kiwi skipper to win the America's Cup. After leaving Team New Zealand, Sir Peter became passionately involved in environmental issues. Inside Sailing looks back at his adventurous life with exclusive footage of his recent voyage to Antarctica aboard Seamaster.
The America's Cup is proving once again to be the big draw. Inside Sailing checks out the rumours of treachery, billionaires taking the helm and keels falling off as the syndicates start training in Auckland for the 2003 series.
The Volvo Ocean Race completed its second leg, arriving in Sydney Harbour. Illbruck won again, but it didn't come easy. Inside Sailing brings you all the dramas and excitement of the first Southern Ocean leg where Kunnar Krantz's Team SEB set a new 24-hour monohull record of 460.4 nautical miles at an average speed of 19.18 knots.
The participants in this year's Volvo race are doing more than just competing in a race; they are also contributing to an environmental study. Inside Sailing looks at how each boat is collecting samples from the seas, with the results helping scientists of the Southampton Oceanography Centre to better understand conditions in some of the more remote locations on the globe.
The monthly half-an-hour programme presented by CNN in association with UBS Financial Services Group is transmitted in Europe, Asia and Latin America the last week of every month on Sunday and is repeated on Wednesday and Saturday.
