The Saint Barth Cata Cup for F18s is due to take place in November

In one of the world's fastest sign-ups, so the 50 available spaces for November's Saint Barth Cata Cup were filled in just in just 4 hours and 40 minutes.

The F18 event in the French Caribbean paradise island is to take place this year over 14-18 November and after a few editions already seems to have struck a chord with the F18 community,

Among the line-up are some big names, not just from the cat sailing world. They include three past World Champions, Olivier Backes, the Boulogne brothers, F18 turned America's Cup helmsman Darren Bundock, Mischa Heemskerk and Yvan Bourgnon, but also Extreme 40 skipper Eric Maris, America's Cup crewman Thierry Fouchier and Vendee Globe and maxi-multihull skipper Roland Jourdain.
