10 point lead for Ainslie

Finn sailor surges ahead at KielerWoche

Saturday June 28th 2003, Author: Sasha Oswald, Location: none selected
After four races RYA Team GBR sailor Ben Ainslie continues his domination of the Finn class. Scoring his third first place win at Kiel Week, he maintains the number one spot by ten points from the 1996 Olympic silver medallist Sebastien Godefroid of Belgium.

Due to the fact that racing is still underway at Kiel, Germany, full results from day three are not available. However we do know that Paul Goodison scored a second and a first place which will see him move up the ladder in the Laser class, and Josie Gibson sailing with Sue Parkin scored their first race win of the week in the women's 470 class and are currently lying in fourth place overall.
