Four of the top ten

The French are continuing to dominate the Tornado European Championships

The French domination of the Tornado European Championships has continued in earnest on day three in Greece. However, there have been some changes at the top of the results.

Most notably today, after leading convincingly over days one and two Guichard and Guyader (FRA) had a disappointing set of results in the slightly windier ten knot conditions, scoring a 12th and sixth. This has seen the pair slip back to second overall as another consistent set of results from Besson and Arnaud (FRA) saw the team take a two point lead at the front of the fleet.

Home sailors, Pashaldis and Trigonis (GRE) have maintained their third position overall with a first and a fifth today. They have extended their gap on second placed Ashby and Bundock (AUS) to seven points.

In addition to having first and second positions the French are truly showing their multihull dominance at the regatta with all four teams competing in the top ten.

Racing continues on Friday following a layday on Thursday.
