The 29er fleet go into the finals of their European Championship in Copenhagen

Friday August 12th 2005, Author: Ovington Boats, Location: United Kingdom
The 29er Europeans are taking place alongside the 49er Europeans in Vallenbaek, Denmark . A fleet of 60 boats have sailed in two groups to decide the Gold and Silver fleet. The two days of qualifiing races brought brisk winds, just like the 49ers.

Gold and silver fleet racing starts today with a stong contingent of Brits and Danes. It is however the brother and sister team of Silja and Lauri Lehtinen from Finland who look like the ones to beat.
