VIDEO: Sam Davies' IMOCA 60 dockside tour

The British Vendee Globe ace gives us the low down on the Route du Rhum line-up

Nine IMOCA 60s are due to take the Route du Rhum start line on Sunday. On this occasion Sam Davies will not be among them, despite being the first woman, first Brit and first non-French skipper to arrive home in the last Vendee Globe. However she remains involved with her former Transat Jacques Vabre co-skipper Sidney Gavignet, who is skippering the maxi-trimaran Oman Air Majan. Sam tells us of her part in this, her progress towards getting an IMOCA 60 sponsor and we start are walk along the St Malo dock learning what you wouldn't find out by just looking at the boats or in some cases even talking to their crews.
