Crew announced for Geronimo

Ever since September last year, the Cap Gemini and Schneider Electric trimaran team has been training relentlessly for the next challenge: The Jules Verne Trophy.
On board Geronimo, the crew has seen a few changes, with three new faces joining Olivier de Kersauson’s team.
They may be new faces for this record attempt, but they’re far from unknown in the world of sailing.
Xavier Briault was involved in building Geronimo and was a crewmember on the trimaran’s first attempt on this record in 2002. Armand Coursaudon crewed on the Round Britain and Ireland record attempt and Philippe Laot was for many years a preparation expert for Jean Le Cam, with whom he sailed to beat the English Channel crossing record on the trimaran Bonduelle. The men they replace, Jean François Fouché, Marc Le Fur and Stanislas Devorsine, have left to pursue their own personal projects.
So, for the remainder of the Geronimo programme, Olivier de Kersauson will be joined by his two loyal watch captains: Yves Pouillaude and Didier Ragot, who will in turn be supported by Antoine Deru, Pascal Blouin, Rodolphe Jacq, Franck Ferey, Pierre Corriveaud, Philippe Laot, Xavier Briault and Armand Coursaudon.
