Victory Challenge enter Gotland Rund

The Swedish America's Cup syndicate, Victory Challenge, are planning to enter the Accenture Round Gotland Race on 29 June. They have registered under the name Victory Challenge/Royal Blue, which is former Nicorette, former Whitbread Charles Jourdan, she participated last summer with Ludde Ingvall as skipper.

"We consider the entry as a preliminary one," says Bert Willborg, Victory Challenge's press officer. "We havn´t decided yet as well as we havn´t decided about America's Cup 2007."

The crew will be partly the same as in Auckland and the reason for participating is to keep the interest alive until a decision is made for 2007.
