Geronimo breaks another record

This time it is to the Cape of Good Hope

Geronimo, Olivier de Kersauson's Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and Schneider Electric sponsored maxi triamaran passed the longitude of the Cape of Good Hope at 17:35:35 GMT this evening, 16 days, 14 hours, 35 minutes and 26 seconds after crossing the start line.

This is a second record for the maxi-tri and is an impressive two days, four hours and five minutes ahead of Bruno Peyron's voyage on Orange last year.
