This morning at 0830, Thomas Coville and the crew of the maxi-trimaran Sodebo have left La Trinite-sur-Mer bound for Brest where the trimaran will remain docked pending the optimum weather window to set off on her solo non-stop round the world record attempt.
"Today Sodebo is ready to go around the world, so we decided to take her closer to the starting line," said Boat Captain Thierry Briend. "The aim is to be as responsive as we can be if suitable weather conditions come along that favour a departure."

Today the weather is perfect for the trip north o Brest, where she is expected to arrive late afternoon at the Port de Recouvrance, Quai Malbert.
