Looking for a Figaro skipper

WIth Jeanne Grégoire to complete in this year's Solitaire, so Banque Populaire are hunting for a replacement

With their skipper Jeanne Grégoire temporarily unavailable, so the Banque Populaire Group, who have backed her since 2004, are temporarily looking for new skipper to fly their colour for this historic year - which includes the 40th anniversary Solitaire du Figaro.

The Banque Populaire Class Beneteau Figaro boat will be handed over by Jeanne Grégoire at the end of March for the new skipper to train and participate in the qualifying races.

This mimics what happened to Banque Populaire back in 2004 when their skipper Pascal Bidegorry was injured shortly before the start of the Solitaire and passed the helm over to Grégoire.

The bank is looking for a skipper that shares its values of courage, cooperation, faith and illustrates the ambitions of the brand: encouraging entrepreneurial courage and tenacity with a track record behind them.

The Banque Populaire Group will consider, with the help of its sailors and its partners, all applications received before 15 March by email to: sponsoring@bfbp.banquepopulaire.fr.
