Weather doesn't co-operate

Banque Populaire maxi returns to Lorient

On Sunday, Pascal Bidégorry and his crew set sail from Cadiz on their Banque Populaire V maxi trimaran to continue the training in the Atlantic. However no weather window is about to line up for their attempt on the Route of Discovery record and so the 13 man crew are to take their boat back to their base in Lorient.

"The boat is ready!" says Bidégorry. "At the end of this week's training, we return to Lorient for a Friday arrival.
