Images from the departure of the Royal Western Yacht Club's two handed classic

The Royal Western Yacht Club's Round Britain and Ireland Race got underway at 1200 today from Plymouth Sound. In a 6-8 knot southeasterly Nick Bubb and Pete Cumming on Kenmore got the best start followed by the 2002/1998 race winner Waverider followed by Pete Goss and Paul Larsen on board the Seacart 30 Cornwall Playing for Success.
