Thedailysail was in Les Sables d'Olonne to witness the arrival of first placed Vincent Riou

Perhaps due to the incredible competition that has lasted the duration of this Vendee Globe Vincent Riou's arrival in Les Sables d'Olonne was the biggest of all the arrivals we have been fortunate enough to witness. And this was despite the hour approaching midnight as he finally entered the canal leading to Porto Olona.
