Volvo Ocean Race comes to Sky Sports 2

Through the course of the Volvo Ocean Race the TV productions team has been busy making weekly program showing the race unfold. Volvo have now managed to secure broadcasting of these programs in the UK from January on Sky Sports 2 weekly at 1800 every Friday night startig from 20 January. To catch up Sky Sports will be broadcasting all the episodes so far daily between 3 and 13 January, again nightly at 1800.
For those outside of the UK below is a list of all the television stations and programmes that will be showing the race as it progresses:
Argentina - TYC Sundays midnight, repeated Mondays at a time to be advised.
Pan-Asia - ESPN Star: Star Southeast Asia - Thursdays 1900; Star Asia - Tuesdays 2000; Star Hong Kong; Tuesdays 2000; Star Taiwan - Wednesdays midnight; Star India - Wednesdays 0200.
Australia - Channel Ten is our partner and will carry the 30 minute weekly programmes at 2330 on Sunday nights, plus news reports in the Sports Tonight programme.
Brazil - Globo: Sunday evenings at varying times, also Globosat will take the 30 minute weekly show at times to be advised
Canada - rogers Sportsnet Fridays 1330, Saturdays 1700, Sundays 0930
Pan-Europe - Eurosport, 30 minute programme, Wednesdays 2200, CNBC 30 minute programmes at times to be advised
Fiji - Fiji TV from 17 December, 30 minute programme, Saturdays at 1700.
Finland - Channel 4 , 30 minute programmes at 1130 on Saturdays.
Germany - ZDP in discussion, XXP (Speigel TV) to be advised
Holland - NOS every Sunday in Sunday Sports
India/Pakistan - Ten Sports-Taj TV Saturdays 2200
Italy - RaiSat will have the programmes on Monday PM and will have regular reports in weekend sports shows on the main RAI channel. Sailing Channel daily
Japan - Gaora from 8 December Wednesdays 0700, Fridays 1800, Saturdays 1100. Sports-1, January 2nd and 4th Sundays 1800, February and on, 1st and 3rd Sundays 1800. J-Sky Sports, Jaunary 3rd and 5th Mondays 1800, February and on, 2nd and 4th Sundays 1800
Korea - KBS Sky weekly show from June 2006.
Pan-Middle East - Orbit Tuesdays 1300/2130. Showtime, various.
New Zealand - TV3 will be the broadcaster in NZ with coverage starting in January on weekend sports show and live coverage of the Wellington start
Norway - you can see the programmes on NRK 1 and 2 on NRK2 Fridays at 2100 and NRK1 Saturdays at 2300
Peru - CMD Fridays 1830/2300, Saturdays 1100
Portugal - Sport TV Monday/Tuesday 2330
Russia - NTV Plus every Tuesday at 2200 approx.
South Africa - M-Net Super Sport, Sundays at 2100.
Spain - every Friday on TVE2 at 2030, DeSportivo (TVE) times to be advised. TVE Galicia times to be advised
Sweden - TV4 and Viasat in discussion.
UK - ITV4 will carry the half hour programmes on Saturday morning at 0130. From January, ITV1 will carry a monthly, hour long round up programme on Sundays at 1300.
USA - CNBC weekly programming has been withdrawn by CNBC. There will be a one hour special review show in July 2006 on ABC and ESPN.
Venezuela - Meridiano TV Saturdays 1800
