Delta Dore up the ante

Following their victories in the Figaro class this in the Generali Solo, Solitaire Afflelou Le Figaro, Route du Ponant and Championnat de France de Course au Large en Solitaire, Delta Dore and their singlehanded skipper Jérémie Beyou have decided to up their game.
Delta Dore have backed Beyou on the Figaro circuit since 2002, and on Saturday Joel Renault, Chairman and Managing Director announced their continued attachment to the sport of sailing, in their support of their skipper in his fledgling Open 60 campaign, to last four years and taking in the 2006 Route du Rhum and the Vendée Globe in 2008.
Delta Dore, as a company enjoy their association with the values of sailing and to increase their exposure to the general publish.
Designed by Farr Yacht Design, the new boat has just start construction at JMV Industries in Cherbourg one of the most prolific build of Open 60s including Bonduelle, Sill, Team Group 4, Geodis, etc. While his new boat is in construction Beyou will continue on the Figaro circuit racing in the class' Transat AG2R two-handed race from Lorient to St Barts in April next year.
Project managing the new Delta Dore is fellow Figaro sailor and meteorologist, Gilles Chiorri. Sails for the new boat are being made by Incidences.
