Lewmar JOG Week

New event to take place next week for the Junior Offshore Group

Marine equipment manufacturer Lewmar is the title sponsor of the Lewmar JOG (Junior Offshore Group) Week, which starts next week.

Lewmar JOG Week, a four-day regatta open to IRC rated classes, is a new event for JOG’s busy programme this year. The regatta takes place in Guernsey from 29th August to 1st September, following a feeder race, the Lewmar Channel Race, from the Solent on Friday 26 August.

Lewmar is a leading supplier of deck hardware, winch, steering and anchoring systems to the weekend offshore cruiser racers that typically make up the competitive JOG fleets. The regatta is an excellent platform for the company to strengthen its hands-on relationship with the competitors.

As well as the busy racing programme of round-the-cans and long races, the social agenda features a BBQ on the Island of Herm and a Caribbean party.
