Thierry Martinez captures the world's fastest monohull crashing through waves off northern Brittany

Robert Miller's transatlantic and 24 hour record holder, the maxi-schooner Mari Cha IV, left her berth in Cherbourg over the weekend bound for her next race. This will be a little less dramatic than some of her exploits last year. The 140ft speedster will be taking part against a number of other (and substantially smaller) maxis at this year's Antigua Sailing Week.
