Oki European Challenge canned

Due to irreconcilable differences with Europa Horizons Ltd, the organizers of the Oki European Challenge, the race will not now go ahead in 2005 as planned. Oki is deeply saddened by this news but, owing to legal reasons, is unable to comment further at this time.

Oki became a sponsor of sailing in 2003 and was a supporting sponsor of Skandia Cowes Week 2004, including the provision of printing equipment.

Oki is also sponsoring the Reeds Oki Nautical Almanac 2005, the indispensable annual compendium of navigational data for yachtsmen, which will be on sale at the Southampton Boat Show for the first time and will be officially launched at Kelvin Hughes Chandlers, Stand C26 on Tuesday 14 September 2005.
