Figaros in Cowes

2004 Course des Falais announced

The Association Drakker and CapSport will once again be running the Figaro class' Course des Falais in September this year.

The event held alternate years with the Route du Ponant, runs from 9-19 September and will again be sailed singlehanded. It will form part of the FFV's singlehanded 2004 championship.

The course includes a stopover in the UK.

Le Havre – Cowes
Cowes – Fécamp
Fécamp - Saint Valéry en Caux – Fécamp
Fécamp - Etretat – Fécamp
Fécamp - Le Havre

Alongside the main event will be racing for the old generation Figaro boats.

The race has previously been held for the Figaro class in 1998 and 1999 when it's arrival in the UK included a leg up Southampton Water to Southampton Boat Show.

The Course des Falais is sponsored by the City of Le Havre and other partners are expected to endorse this project.
