The Route des Iles for the Mumm 30 class got underway on Saturday with two races in Propriano, Corsica. This was followed today by a race up the west coast of the island from Propriano to Ajaccio. This involved motoring 10 miles up the course to find wind.

Eventually racing got underway today in a 10 knot WSWerly. At the entrance to the Bay of Ajaccio, two miles from the finish line the wind died again causing the fleet to regroup.

After three races one point separates the leaders. Dimitri Deruelle on Marseilles-Cape Sport winner in Propriano finished sixth today allowing German Bent Dietrich's Rainbow team to narrow the gap.

Diarmuid Foley's Irish entry on Mammy was disqualified following a port-starboard incident.
