And another record
Monday October 6th 2003, Author: James Boyd, Location: France
The Norwegian Wally - Morten Bergesen's 105ft ketch
Nariida - has established a new record, first mooted in 1999, between Monaco to Porto Cervo.
With, of course, former djuice dragons skipper Knut Frostad at the helm Nariida covered the 185nm passage in a time of 15 hours, 25 minutes and 9 seconds at an average speed of 11.90 knots over 5-6 October.
The record is still subject to ratification by the WSSRC.
