Sam Davies announces crew

There is a race against time for one of the potential leading contenders in this Sunday's two handed Tour de Bretagne à la Voile avec Ouest-France for the Figaro class.

Ronan Gueron left Pornichet this Wednesday morning together with his co-skipper Olympic medallist Yves Pajot. After this one last training session the duo are expected to reach St Malo on Friday morning (16th May), within the time limit at 1500. Guérin finished third in the Figaro class' two handed Transat AG2R in 2001.

Following the announcement on Friday that Skandia are to sponsor her for this season, Sam Davies has signed up Emma Westmacott as crew for Sunday's race. Sam and Emma sailed together on Tracy Edwards' Royal & SunAlliance and since then Westmacott has sailed the Volvo Ocean Race on Amer Sports Too.
