SpeedDream 27 upgraded with DSS

First step with new foil for radical boat

The SpeedDream 27 is back in water with newly installed DSS foils.

Designer Vlad Murnikov reports: "The weather did not cooperate with the wind barely reaching 7-8 knots, but the foils do work, adding to the boat's overall balance, especially when flying the keel. Even at speed of 10-11 knots their a effect is really noticeable and it would be much greater at higher speeds.

"It does look that a 'flying keel-stabilising foil' combination is a great solution for a high speed monohull, and I'm sure that more testing would further prove that."
