The latest Maxi 72

Jesus Renedo's images of the new MOMO out on the Bay of Palma

Palma-based photogtrapher Jesus Renedo has kindly provided these first shots of the latest Mini Maxi (we must now call them Maxi 72s) MOMO. Built by Persico in Italy, this is a Judel-Vrolijk design and sistership to Rán 5 (see our guided tour to Rán 5 here). The boat is being campaigned by Dieter Schön, owner of the Brenta 98 Chrisco, a regular competitor at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. It's first regatta is Gaastra Palmavela at the end of April. She's seenn here training on the Bay of Palma with Roberto Tomasini Grinover's Robertissima, which is the original Rán Mini Maxi.
