Grapefruit Graphics has formed a partnership with leading international self-adhesive films manufacturer MACtac, to strengthen their boat wrapping services to boat owners and yards.

With a a choice of 54 colours and textures available, MACtac Tuning Film provides a broad range of options to personalise a yacht's hull, while rejuvenating its finish. But the main attraction of the system is that it typically costs around 30% the cost of painting.

The hull of a 30ft yacht, for example, can be completely covered in just two days. Aside from the availability of vibrant colours, new textures are also available such as carbon or brushed aluminium finish (in several versions), none possible with paint.

Tuning Films last for several years and are resistant to fading, abrasion and UV. They are particularly maintenance-friendly and provide additional protection to the topsides. They are also removable - owners can revert to the original hull colour if they choose to, for example when they choose to sell their yacht.
