Audi All4One heads for Kiel

Franco-German TP52 to take in a trip to the Baltic this summer

With the 2012 season about to start, so Audi Sailing Team powered by ALL4ONE is getting ready to sail once more in some of the most prestigious European sailing events.

For the third consecutive year, the German-French sailing team, led by Jochen Schümann will proudly set sail in Audi colours.

The team will continue to sail this year on its TP52, that was built a year ago in Sydney, Australia, and which is now being prepared for racing at the team's base in Valencia.

Audi Sailing Team powered by ALL4ONE's 2012 European Tour 2012 program:

- Trofeo Conde de Godo, Barcelona, 23-27 May
- Kieler Woche, Kiel, 16-24 June
- Royal Cup, Palma, 10-14 July
- Copa del Rey, Palma, 16-21 July
- Valencia Cup, Valencia, 18-22 September

Stephane Kandler, CEO of ALL4ONE commented on the forthcoming season: "Audi Sailing Team powered by ALL4ONE starts its third season and we are proud to bear Audi's colours around Europe. There are some challenges in the program we have chosen, because we will sail in the biggest European sailing regattas such as the Copa del Rey and the Kiel Week. Sailing in these regattas will enable us to have some new faces on board around the core team, which has been sailing together for a few years now. Three-time Olympic champion and twice America's Cup winner Jochen Schümann explains the team's plan for its sports programme: "I'm happy to return 'home' with Audi Sailing Team powered by ALL4ONE, sailing for the first time with our TP52 in all races of Kiel Week 2012, and flying Kieler Yacht Club's burgee. This will be a great opportunity to showcase Audi Sailing Team and our 52 Racer in Germany. Young Sailing Team Germany sailors and guests will have the chance to sail with us on board during daily races in Kiel.

"The second main event in 2012 for Audi Sailing Team will be in July at Copa del Rey in Palma - just before the Olympics. We are looking forward to a thrilling season - sailing in the Baltic Sea and in the Med again."
