The multihull guru and ex-Alinghi 5 shot gun helm on the new union with his brother and their part in the next America's Cup

This week French multihull legends and brothers Loick and Bruno Peyron announced their collaboration in the 34th America's Cup. While this might be construed as the Peyron brothers wishing to set up their own team, in fact it is a cry for some union between to two or more potential French challengers: France is the undisputed no1 nation when it comes to multihull racing and so it is essential, or 'criminal' as Loick Peyron puts it, if France is not represented in the 34th America's Cup.

In the first few months of 2011, Loick Peyron will be competing in the Barcelona World Race with Jean-Pierre Dick aboard the new Virbac Paprec 3, and in St Malo following a Barcelona World Race press meeting, he gave us his thoughts on he and his brother hope to play in the next America's Cup.
