Laser SB3 World Championship in 2012 to be moved to Aussie paradise island

Following developments in the planning stages for the 2012 Laser SB3 World Championships, the World Council of the Laser SB3 Class Association have decided that the event will now be hosted on Hamilton Island in Northern Queensland.

Hamilton Island is situated on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef, amongst Queensland’s 74 Whitsunday Islands, Hamilton Island offers an experience like no other: glorious weather, azure waters, brilliant beaches, and fabulous trade wind sailing.

The new dates for the event are 13–20 December 2012. Further details will be made available shortly.
