World's fastest boat on display in Lorient this weekend

The fastest boat in the world – Alain Thebault’s foiler-tri L’Hydroptere – was yesterday crane back in the water and her 28m tall mast restepped in Lorient following a four month refit over the winter.

The boat is moored at Lorient’s Cite de la Voile Eric Tabarly. Visitors will be allowed to see the boat at the new Eric Tabarly centre this Saturday as the team prepare for their first sailing sessions of 2010.
