Beneteau Cup 2010
The Beneteau Cup returns this summer over the August Bank Holiday weekend, 28–29 August, with a lowered entry fee and a new venue - the Royal Southern Yacht Club, Hamble.
Every year the Beneteau Cup attracts abilities of all levels, from the family fun of the Treasure Hunt to the cut and thrust of the Class A IRC fleet racing. Combined with racing is to be a programme of afternoon and evening entertainment for all the family.
Race partners this year include: Sailing Today, Raymarine, Wild Graphics, Fairview Sailing, Universal Yachting, North Sails, SGB Finance, Henri Lloyd and MVS (Marina Valeting Services Ltd).
Berthing from Friday – Sunday will be at MDL’s Port Hamble Marina, next to the Royal Southern.
Entry is lower this year and is two-tiered for boats under and over 39ft:
- Boats under 39ft £140 (including four evening tickets!)
- Boats over 39ft £180 (including eight evening tickets!)
Those without a Beneteau can also part in the event, with Fairview Sailing offering charter packages for the weekend on their new Beneteau Oceanis 37s - for £1,447 Inc VAT. This doesn't include Beneteau Cup entry, but does include berthing for two nights in Port Hamble Marina, asymmetric spinnaker hire and race insurance.
