Racers from the square mile

The Cayman Islands City Racing Challenge has been announced for workers in the square mile. Cleverly racing, which will be held on the Solent, has been divided up into professions across four weekend.
Insurance and asset management: Training 9 April. Racing 10-11 April
Legal: Training 30 April. Racing 1-2 May
Banking: Training 25 June. Racing 26-27 June
- IT: Training 9 July. Racing 10-11 July
- Finals: Gala Dinner 25 September. Racing 25-26 September
All teams entering the challenge will compete in their industry weekend, and will automatically qualify to race in either a silver or gold final held in Cowes on 25-26 September.
Racing across both weekends is covered in the entry fee. A full social programme, Laser SB3 Charter, race training day, branding package and gala dinner is also included in the price.
The sailing will be held in the Solent, and is organised by Cowes based Pelican Racing and hosted by the Island Sailing Club.
Cayman Islands is the title sponsor to the City Racing Challenge.
