With winds dropping to a calm 12 knots SE, Frank Pong was again denied the opportunity to break Sam Chan's line honours record and is now expected to reach the line at around 2200hrs tonight.
The fleet has spread out considerably, with Baringo now 114nm behind the leading boat. Siren and Stella are still on course for a close battle on corrected time, with Stella looking the more likely boat to take the Hainan title.
