An absence of wind put paid to any ideas of racing in Marseilles at the K-Challenge Pro-Am Cup, where the race committee were forced to cancel today’s racing.

The boats waited in the rain in the sailing area, but when the wind failed to materialise, but after three hours the race committee pulled the plug on the day's proceedings.

Going into the final day there are two leaders - Epure by Lierac with Pierre-Loic Berthet at the helm, and K-Challenge 1, skippered by defending champion Thierry Peponnet. They are both tied on 11 points with Chacal, racing in the Amateur category with Alexandre Pallu at helm, in third on 25.

The racing tomorrow is scheduled to start at 10:00am, and there will be no more starts after 3:00pm, as the prize-giving ceremony is planned at 5:00pm at the Societe Nautique de Marseille, the Yacht Club which hosts the competition.
